Entrepreneur and Author Chris Faulkner is founder, president and CEO of Breitling Energy Corporation (BECC), Dallas, TX. He has been the driving force behind the company’s growth, technology innovations and strategic approach to oil and gas exploration and production for the past decade.

While he understands the details of energy production–from the technical to the financial aspects—he has a global view of energy policy. As an energy expert, he’s a trusted source for lawmakers on Capitol Hill, journalists and Washington policy analysts from respected think tanks. Faulkner kicked off the Natural Gas Roundtable luncheon series of 2014 in Washington and the CSIS/USAEE annual energy policy conference in Washington.

He has been featured in hundreds of broadcast and print news outlets, including CNBC, FOX Business News, NBC News and Voice of America. Faulkner is responsible for the company’s long-range economic and energy outlooks in support of investor relations, short and long-term business strategy, mergers and acquisitions. He also oversees the development and application of new and existing technology for optimizing recovery efficiency within Breitling Energy’s conventional and unconventional resources.
Faulkner serves as an advisor to the ECF Asia Shale Committee and sits on the Board of Directors for the North Texas Commission. He’s also a member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, the Dallas Petroleum Club, Independent Petroleum Association of America, Texas Alliance of Energy Producers and Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association. Faulkner is actively involved in local and national philanthropic and non-profit organizations, including Dallas Performing Arts, Texas CAN-DO, American Heart Association and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Faulkner studied biomedical engineering at Southern Methodist University, business and mathematics at Baylor University and at the University of North Texas.
